With the MetLife Legal Plan, you gain access to experienced attorneys and helpful tools to support you through a wide range of personal legal matters. Whether you're planning for the future, managing finances, or handling unexpected legal issues, this plan makes it easier and more affordable to get the guidance you need—with no copays, deductibles, or claim forms when using a network attorney for covered services.

When you enroll, you’ll have access to a network of prequalified attorneys who can assist with services such as:

  • Estate planning documents, including wills, living wills, and powers of attorney
  • Real estate matters, including buying, selling, and refinancing a home
  • Debt collection and identity theft defense
  • Tax audit representation
  • Civil lawsuit defense and small claims assistance
  • Family legal matters, including adoption and name changes
  • Document review and legal advice
  • Traffic ticket defense (excluding DUI)

Employees can enroll in the Voluntary Benefits when they are newly eligible, with a Qualifying Life Event, or during Annual Open Enrollment.
